Line port must use 24 ~ 26 gauge phone wiring, we do not recommend 28 gauge or above. 3. We advise using Category 3, 4, 5 cables for cable modem or router connections to avoid any confusion or inconvenience in the future when you attached to high bandwidth devices. 4. Be sure phone cable has been installed before the Master/Slave Ethernet extender powered on. 10
