The information enclosed here will greatly assist you during your tether period. If you have any questions or concerns feel free to contact our Customer Service Department at 888.889.6989 Please read all instructions prior to operating the SCRAMx Device. This unit is very easy to use, it is reliable and accurate. The SCRAMx Device is manufactured with quality components and is designed for years of trouble free use. It is, however, a highly sophisticated computer device and care must be taken not to abuse it. There are precautions that you must take to ensure that the device is as accurate as possible: • • • • • Do not place anything between your leg and the bracelet for any reason. Any attempt at fraudulent use of the unit will be recorded. Total Court Services is obligated to report such information to the proper authorities. Do not use any products that contain alcohol as an ingredient. Products that contain alcohol may result in a false reading. All activity is recorded in the computer memory of the device such as date; time, alcohol level and other activities are all logged. If you have any questions about the device or experience problems please call our Customer Service Department at 888.889.6989. As a condition of the SCRAMx Program you authorize personnel to inspect and maintain the SCRAMx equipment and pay costs. The SCRAM Modem You may not disconnect the Scram Modem without prior authorization from Total Court Services. You also agree to maintain an analog telephone line and electrical service at your residence at your own expense. You may not make any changes in the equipment or service at your residence and you may not have any telephone features or functions that interfere with the normal operation of the Scram Modem. You must physically be in range (25 feet of the Scram Modem) at the minimum of once per day. You MAY NOT leave the scram modem range while the GREEN LIGHT IS BLINKING. If you experience problems with the device or if you lose electrical power at the residence, you must call Total Court Services immediately.
