To change the boot order To move up, select the device with and , and then press F6. To move down, select the device with and , and then press F5. To move the device from [Excluded from boot order] to [Boot priority order] or vice versa, select the device with then press X. To return to the default setting, press 1. NOTE The default order is [USB FDD] -> [IDE HDD] -> [USB CDD] -> [PCI LAN]. To boot from the following devices, make the settings as below. To boot from • Internal CD/DVD drive • USB connected device • LAN You need to set : [CD/DVD Drive] to [Enable] ( page 81) [USB Port] and [Legacy USB Support] to [Enable] ( [CD/DVD Drive Power] to [On] ( page 80) : [USB Port] and [Legacy USB Support] to [Enable] ( : [LAN] to [Enable] ( page 81) page 81) page 81) In the [Boot] menu, the names of the connected devices (including internal devices) will be displayed. “USB CDD: MATSHITA UJXXXXX XXXX” is the internal CD/DVD drive.
