Keyboard Wedge Interface 6-11 Caps Lock On When enabled, the digital scanner emulates keystrokes as if the Caps Lock key is always pressed. Enable Caps Lock On *Disable Caps Lock On Caps Lock Override When enabled, on AT or AT Notebook hosts, the keyboard ignores the state of the Caps Lock key and matches the case (upper or lower) of the sent character. Therefore, an upper case ‘A’ in the bar code is sent as an upper case ‘A,’ and a lower case ‘a’ in the bar code is sent as a lower case ‘a,’ no matter what the state of the keyboard’s Caps Lock key. Enable Caps Lock Override *Disable Caps Lock Override If both Caps Lock On and Caps Lock Override are enabled, Caps Lock Override takes precedence.
