Statement regarding known issues As an open source community based software project, Kuali Coeus wishes to be transparent about known issues with the software at each release. Publically providing an exhaustive list of known issues is a deviation from common practice for commercially provided software. We believe it important to allow our colleagues who might consider adopting the software to make as fully informed decision as possible, to limit surprises that would be encountered during the course of implementation and to eliminate the expenditure of unnecessary time discovering and confirming issues that are already known. The commitment to transparency coupled with a rigorous quality assurance process leads to an extensive lists of bugs, but by far the vast majority fall into the minor and trivial category. Those known issues in the Critical and Major categories will be attended to in future patches and releases. The KC project team has not thoroughly reviewed the list of known issues for accuracy or priority. Some of these issues may have already been fixed or may not be considered legitimate bugs. Help Content Please note that the KC help content is not 100% complete. The project team has tried to provide as much useful help content as possible given limited resources assigned to help documentation. Critical Issues The following issues were prioritized as Critical for the KC 5.1.1 release. An issue is Critical if key functionality is unusable or severely crippled. Typically (i) there is no acceptable workaround; (ii) it prevents access to functionality deeper in the software; and (iii) overall it has as significant impact.
