Finally, you want to tell Disciple that RED-CSOP1 is an enemy reconnaissance unit. In the Answer we
recognized RED-CSOP1 as a reconnaissance unit because it performs the action “SCREEN1” which is a
reconnaissance action. You should therefore give Disciple a hint of type “Is”. This hint tells Disciple that
SCREEN1 should be of a certain type (i.e. a reconnaissance action). Click on the “Is” button. Then, in
the top pane, click on SCREEN1 where it appears as a value of the feature “FOR-RECON-ACTION”.
Disciple will display, in the bottom pane, all the explanations of type “Is” for SCREEN1. One of them is
"SCREEN1 IS INTELLIGENCE-COLLECTION--MILITARY-TASK". Select it and then click on
“Accept”, as explained above.
Disciple has now an explanation of the current example.
Click on “Close”. At this point Disciple will generate a rule based on this example and its explanations,
and it will introduce it in the KB.
This ends the process of learning a rule from the current example and Disciple will return to the
Cooperative Problem Solver.
