Features:
The APTUS POWER CASE extends the battery life of your iPhone for hours with up to 175% .
It means you can charge your phone ONE time and charger 75% for second time. It provides you
more power to rock, talk, surf, chat and provides a comfortable ergonomic design with the
complete protection of a hard shell case.
With the built on fast charge technology you can charger your Case battery and IPhon5 battery
much faster vs. the standard corded charger. Usually it takes about 40% less time vs. the standard
corded charger to charger the same amount of charge. This is accomplish by charging both case
battery and the IPhone internal battery in parallel.

Compatibility
The APTUS CASE was designed and intended solely for the Apple iPhone 5/5C/5S. Please do
not attempt to use the product with any other device.
Important
The APTUS CASE comes charged and ready to go, but after the initial use, normal charging will
take about 8 to 9 hours for maximum power with 4200mAH. It will charge the 4200mAH battery
and your IPhone5 battery. (* IPhone5 battery should not be in a bad condition. You can charge it
by itself or while the iPhone is inserted.
Charging your APTUS CASE:
There are two ways you can charge the APTUS CASE.
1) You open the folded AC blade and plug it into the AC wall. This is a preferred method.
The Case is design to work from 90V to 264VAC so you can plug your AC blades input
anywhere in the world. Keep in mind the AC blades are design to operate on the North
American input. You have to use the external matching connector for another county’s
outlet.
2) Connect the Power Charging cable provided to the bottom of your APTUS CAE. (*
There are many different cable available with minor dimension differences, not all of
them will work with the Aptus case). The USB side of Power charging cable can be
plugged in to the AC Charger, computer or any power source with a USB out, like the
standard USB wall adaptor included with your phone. The LEDs located on the front of
the device will blink to indicate the APTUS CASE has begun charging. When the LEDs
stop blinking, it does not mean the case has stopped charging. You can check the
charging status by pushing the status button next to the LED lights; APTUS CASE is
fully charged when all four LEDs light up. You can read clearly the marking of 25%,
50%, 75% and 100% on the LED panel.
Charging your iPhone 5 using the APTUS CASE:
If your iPhone is drained of power or if you want to extend the battery life of your phone, slide
the iPhone into the APTUS CASE.
Make sure that the connector is securely inserted into the bottom of the iPhone and the power
switch is turned "On,”. When your phone recognizes the APTUS CASE, a battery symbol will
appear on the screen. We have not get the approval for MFi (Made for Apple) so the screen will
indicate that this accessory is not compatible with this phone. But ignore this sign and as long as
the battery sign appear on the screen, it means the phone is charging and/or using the power from
the APTUS CASE rather than from the phone itself.

If your iPhone is drained of power, the APTUS CASE will immediately begin charging your
phone when power switch is “On”. If your iPhone is fully charged, the Aptus Case will act as
your primary battery and no power will be lost from the iPhone internal battery until the Aptus
Case is depleted.
Charging Your PAD OR OTHER SMART PHONE WITH APTUS CASE:
If you need to charge any other device with battery, APTUC case can provides an additional
USB output on the side. You can charge your unit when the case is plugged into the AC wall
with a USB cable. Additional device can also be charged when the Aptus case is charging with

Checking the status of the APTUS CASE:
To check the battery status of the Aptus Case, press the power button located on the back of the
device. When pressed, the LED lights will illuminate for several seconds. Four LEDs means that
the Aptus Case is fully charged. One LED means that it is almost empty. Know before you go.
Switching your APTUS CASE to standby mode:
The power switch on the front of the APTUS CASE allows you to choose between standby mode
and charging mode.
To use your phone’s internal battery, push the switch to the “OFF” mode. When your internal
battery is low, press the power switch "On” and your iPhone will begin charging immediately.
*Note: Using the standby mode will give you even more total battery life. The iPhone uses
additional power to be on a constant charge. Charging when your battery is low will let you get
the most power of out the Aptus Case.
To keep your APTUS CASE operating to its fullest potential, we recommend the following:
1. Keep your APTUS CASE dry and away from moisture and corrosive materials.
2. Do not wash the Aptus Case with harsh chemicals, soaps or detergents. Just wipe the case with
a soft, water-dampened cloth. Wipe the pins gently with a soft, dry cloth.
3. Recharge your Aptus Case once every three months when not in use. Charge it for one hour
before if you plan on putting it away.
Warranty
At APTUS, we are dedicated to making the best quality products we can. To back this up, your
APTUUS case is warranted for 1 full year from the date of purchase.
This warranty does not affect any statutory rights that you may be entitled to. Keep a copy of
your purchase receipt as proof of purchase. Be sure to register your product at
APTUSCASE.COM to activate.

Don’t put your figure behind the case when you plug or pull the unit from the AC wall

Do not store battery in high temperature environment, including intense sunlight heat.
Do not place battery in fire or other excessively hot environments.
Be cautious of excessive drops, bumps, abrasions, or other impacts to this battery.
If there is any damage to the battery such as dents, punctures, tears, deformities, or
corrosion due to any cause, discontinue use.
Contact manufacturer or dispose of it in an appropriate manner at your local battery
recycling center.
Do not disassemble this battery or attempt tore-purpose or modify it in any manner.
Do not expose this battery to moisture or submerge it in liquid. Keep battery dry at all
times.
Do not attempt to charge battery using any method, apparatus, or connection other than
the device’s USB connector. For questions or instructions for the various ways to charge
the Aptus Case refer to this manual’s “Charging your iPhone 5 using the Aptus Case”
section.
Do not attempt to replace any part of this battery.
If this battery is intended by Purchaser to be used by a minor, purchasing adult agrees to
provide detailed instructions and warnings to any minor prior to use. Failure to do so is
sole responsibility of purchaser, who agrees to indemnify Manufacturer for any
unintended use/misuse by a minor.
All batteries have gone through a thorough quality assurance inspection. If you find that
your battery is excessively hot, is emitting odor, is deformed, abased, cut, or is
experiencing or demonstrating an abnormal phenomenon, immediately stop all battery
use and contact Manufacturer.
For extended storage, first charge your battery for three hour.
Never dispose of batteries in the garbage. Disposal of batteries in the garbage is unlawful
under state and federal environmental laws and regulations. Always take used batteries to
your local battery-recycling center.

This battery is meant for use only in conjunction with the appropriate mobile device. Please

FAQ
How does it work?
The APTUC CASE has a rechargeable lithium polymer battery inside. When you slide your
phone into the case, a connector at the base plugs into the port at the bottom of phone. Press the
power switch on the front case to green to start charging your phone. After using up all the
power in the Aptus Case, just recharge it with the included micro USB cable for more on-the-go
power. It’s as easy as that.
Why aren’t the LEDs blinking while the Aptus Case is charging?
After connecting to a power source, the LED status indicator will start blinking to indicate
charging. The lights will turn off after 30 seconds allowing for a good night’s rest. Remember to
check the status indicator before you disconnect. When all four LEDs are lit, your Aptus Case is
fully charged.
What is the best method for charging my iPhone using the APTUS CASE?
Assuming the iPhone and Aptus Case are both fully charged, we recommend waiting until your
iPhone has 40% battery left. When you’re in the red, press the power switch and let the APTUS
CASE to do the heavy lifting.
The iPhone requires more power to charge past 80%, so if you want to get the greatest battery
boost from the Aptus Case, we suggest flipping back to standby mode until your phone battery is
low again. This isn’t the end-all-be-all, but we like it.
What is best method for charging my APTUS CASE?
Connect the Aptus Case to a power source using the foldable AC Blade on the back of the case.
You can also connect any “lighting” cable that came with your IPhone. The cable can be plugged
in to your computer or any power source with a USB out. You do not need to remove your
iPhone from the APTUS CASE to charge. Leaving the Aptus Case on your phone while charging
will actually charge both the case and your iPhone simultaneously!
How many charge cycles do you get out of the Aptus Case? Or, in other words, how long
will the Aptus Case last?
The APTUS CASE is rechargeable for over 500 full cycles. A full cycle is when the case is
charged from 0% to 100%. Partial cycles, like charging from 25% to 100%, will not count as a
full cycle until all of the partials equal 100%. After 500 cycles, the battery in the Aptus Case may

provide less than 75% of the original capacity. This is normal for any product with a lithium
polymer or lithium Ion battery.
What are the benefits of switching the Aptus Case to standby mode?
Using the standby switch will give you the biggest battery boost from the Aptus Case. The
iPhone uses additional power to be on a constant charge, so charging when your phone battery is
low will let you get the most from your Aptus Case.
Can I sync my iPhone while the Aptus Case is still attached?
Yep. You can sync wirelessly if your iPhone and laptop are connected to the same Wi-Fi
network. Just turn “On” powered Aptus Case to charging mode or connect to any USB power
source.
What is APTUS’s return policy?

Will I always receive 175% extra the battery life with my APTUS CASE?
We cannot guarantee that you will receive a 175% battery boost. The amount of additional
battery you will receive depends on a variety of factors that are different for every user.
Does the APTUS CASSE block the speaker, microphone, camera, or any other ports?
Of course not. It enhance the sound.
Does the Aptus Case interfere with antenna reception or Bluetooth connection?
Not a chance.
