DELAY - Miscellaneous Function Insert a pause Syntax DELAY msec See Also ONTIME, TIME Usage msec is an expression indicating the number of milliseconds Extended BASIC should pause before executing the next statement. Using DELAY rather than software do-nothing loops results in programs that run appropriately on future hardware which will have clock speeds greater than currently possible.
