How does Rolletic Original work?
The Rolletic Original body massager uses one of the methods of traditional Chinese medicine.
Therapeutic massage is mentioned in the ancient „Medical Classic of the Yellow Emperor“ from the
Qin and Han dynastic periods. The stimulating effects are achieved by massage in the area of
acupuncture lines, reaching all distant parts of the body, or organs connected to them. Interaction
and massaging movement on the lines result in regulation and direction of Qi (life energy), regulation
of Yin and Yang elements, and regulation of the blood stream and internal organ functioning. The
result has a positive effect on the overall physical and mental condition.
The massage is performed by 20 rollers made of hard, but very smooth wood, with a unique shape
that allows all the acupressure points to be massaged in a given position. The so-called massaging
drum (rotor) consists of 20 of those rollers, and rotates in one direction, at a constant speed of 53
rpm. Immediate contact with the selected area leads to better nutrition of skin cells, thus improving
their activity. The skin becomes more supple and pliable, and also firmer. Adipose tissue metabolism
improves considerably; surface veins and lymphatic vessels empty faster, and metabolism in the skin,
subcutaneous area and muscles improves as well. The above-mentioned therapeutic effect has a

The genuine Rolletic Original machines never use infrared for the following reasons:
It is not possible to equip efficiently any of such massagers with infrared. Its rays nearly do not
penetrate the rollers, thus their effect on human body is inconsiderable. Moreover, the rollers of
Rolletic Original are so close to one another that hardly any light would penetrate at all. What other
manufacturers are offering is not infrared but only a conventional red light (often by means of LED
technology). This only brings an aesthetic effect and possibly can make the user feel a higher
temperature while being messaged.

First of all, make sure that you are buying a genuine Rolletic Original as it often happens that other
machines mostly from Poland, Slovakia, Ukraine or Russia bear this name, too. Rolletic® is trademark
protected, thus no other competing product can bear the name. Rolletic Original had been produced
by Sentaco until the company closed down in 2009. Since 2010, it is exclusively produced by Beauty
Systems. The latest models of Rolletic Original (since 2011) are also signed with a logo embroidered
in the leatherette, by which you can easily recognise the most modern and technically sophisticated
type manufactured by means of the latest technologies, e.g. rollers machined by high frequency
drying process, etc.
Rolletic Original is always supplied with appropriate documentation (user’s manual, exercise manual,
CE declaration of conformity, warranty). Further, the distributor will give you a thorough training on
how to use Rolletic Original properly.
Before it is offered for sale, every Rolletic Original is tested. The heart of the machine, i.e. the
massage drum, is tested by 50 kg for the period of 4 hours. Upon passing this procedure, the drum
gets its serial number. Subsequently, the drum is centred and positioned for a correct operation
under load, thereby the later faults of the drum are eliminated. The Siemens engine (with SKF
bearings) is also subjected to testing under load for 3 to 5 hours.
Upon the assembly of the whole machine, it is tested under load for 1 hour. Further possible faults of
the machine have been eliminated by this testing. For instance, in 2012 there have not been any
warranty claims at all.
Another important factor is the package and transportation of the machine. Rolletic Original is
transported on a pallet where it is fixed. Possibly, it can also be stored in a wooden case with the
walls of 12 mm.
Some of the differences between Rolletic Original and its competing products
The handles of Rolletic Original are flat with the overlap of 1-2 cm so they can be easily held. This is
very important as most of the competing products are equipped with inclined, round handles
without any overlap representing insufficient support points for users. Such designs are merely
aesthetical, not practical.

All of the metallic components of Rolletic Original are always galvanized which is not the case with
competing products for the reason of price and competition fight.
All of the bearings in Rolletic Original are made by a premium producer SKF. They can be found in the
engine, shafts, massaging drum, massaging rollers (each roller has 2 SFK ball bearings; there are 40
pieces of bearings in the drum in total). If any of competing machines uses bearings on its shafts,
they are not made by SKF (financial reason). More often, the bearings on the rollers are replaced by
bushings.
The carcass of Rolletic Original is made of 18 mm laminated boards while its main braces are made of
beech balks. The inside of the carcass is lined with foam to prevent vibration and noise. All of the
edges exposed to the user are covered with an ABS edge. The competing products are always made
of thinner chipboards (12-14 mm) and the noise protection is usually not incorporated. Due to
economy of material, the competing products are covered with leatherette all over the machine,
including the areas which are easy to wear out.

Rolletic Original has 20 rollers of a unique shape for perfect massaging of every part. The shape had
been designed by leading Czech physiotherapists and tested for several years in hospitals in order to
develop a perfect shape for the most effective massage. Most of the competing products have only
up to 18 rollers of a smaller diameter for the reason of a lower production price. The competitors use
various accessories (e.g. infrared, collagen, ionization, vibration, etc.) to make up for the lower
efficiency caused by the unsuitable shape of rollers.

Rolletic Original has the most sophisticated mounting of the rollers. Each roller has two pins and two
SKF bearings, which ensures a long lifespan and high load capacity for the user. Most of the
competing products use plastic bushings instead, which means that their lifespan and load capacity
are not so high as well as their production costs.

The rollers are made of high-quality beech wood free of knots and seeds and with the perfect
machining process including the unique high frequency drying process and varnish bath (3 layers).
The rollers are never coloured. Most of the competing products do have those coloured in order to
conceal the knots and seeds in lower-quality wood. This is cheaper for producers, but dangerous for
providers because users can even get injured when taking exercise.
Rolletic Original has solid wooden chairs ensuring a good stability for massaging. The chair stretchers
are also important. On the basis of individual users, they are used for massaging in particular
positions. Most of the competing products have metal chairs without any stretchers, so they cannot
be effectively adjusted for a given massage plan. Moreover, the competing chairs are narrow and
unstable due to lower production costs.

Rolletic Original has a constant speed of 50 rpm. The speed along with the rollers and the drum
diameter have been tested and designed by Czech physiotherapists for the purpose of the best
possible massaging effect. The competing products enable the change of revolutions, which is not
desirable from the physiological point of view. Low revolutions do not start the flow of lymph (the
effect of massage is low). High revolutions can harm (overflow of lymph).
Rolletic Original has a robust shape and a higher weight which is why it can be effectively used by
users up to 150 kg of weight. The machine is very stable alongside the chair and the kneeling bench.
Rolletic Original Motor and controller
Rolletic Original is exclusively equipped with EMP Slavkov motors and SKF bearings. For the reason of
production savings, and thus to the exclusion of quality, the competing machines prefer components
of much lower quality, mostly made in China.
The load capacity of Rolletic Original is up to 150 kg. This is achieved by means of a very good and
thorough machining and the world’s top-quality components.
Rolletic Original is operated via an LCD controller made by Unitronics, an Israeli company, which
prides itself on a nearly zero failure rate. Unlike most of the competing products that use solely
English as an operating language, the controller of Rolletic Original includes software also in the
Russian language.
