Select either “Start with a blank experiment” or “Create experiment from template” if you or your
research group has pre-made templates, then press enter or OK. (More on templates later)
The “experiment” is created and you see it in the KI-ELN editor. Experiments are made up of
sections. Your experiment always starts with six sections. The top three sections cannot be
changed or removed. The experiment is given a unique experiment number, and the first time you
start an experiment the consecutive 99 experiment numbers are reserved for you.
