Children must be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the device. Do not install the air conditioner yourself. Have the air conditioner installed and commissioned by a specialised company or a qualified technician. Unprofessional installation presents a risk of injury by electrical shock, fire, release of coolant, etc. In the event that the device was not professionally installed, the warranty may be void due to the fact of an incorrect installation. Carefully read these safety instructions before using the air conditioner. It is necessary that you understand them properly. The air conditioner must be properly grounded in accordance with relevant national norms. If the device is not properly grounded, there is a danger of injury by electrical shock. Do not disconnect the appliance from the power socket by pulling on the power cord while the device is in operation – this may damage the power cord / power socket or cause a fire. When disconnecting the device from the power socket, first turn the device off and then disconnect it from the mains power supply by pulling the power plug out of the power socket. Do not use an extension cord to connect the device to the mains power supply. Overloading the power socket presents the risk of a fire or injury by electrical shock. Do not damage the power cord or extend it in any way, you could cause a short circuit and subsequently a fire or expose yourself to a risk of electrical shock. Do not expose yourself to the direct effect of a cold air current for a long time. Do not cool or heat a room excessively. This could lead to health problems. If you will not be using the air conditioner for an extended period of time, disconnect the power cord from the power socket. For each air conditioner use an independent power socket equipped with a circuit breaker and fuses. Do not put appliances used for cooking in places where they could be under the direct effect of air flow from the air conditioner as this could affect cooking quality. Do not use the following substances for cleaning: chemical solvents, insecticides, flammable powder substances, which could damage the surface of the air conditioner. Do not spray the indoor unit with water. Before you turn on the air conditioner, check that doors and windows are closed (for effective cooling we also recommend that you close curtains and blinds). If necessary allow the room to ventilate for a short time. If you notice anything unusual, e.g. burning smell, immediately turn off the air conditioner and turn off the relevant circuit breaker. Do not install the air conditioner in locations where flammable gasses are emitted. In the event that an electrical discharge occurs in the air conditioner, an explosion or fire may easily result.
