Loop by BPM
DSP-Quattro gives you a very useful function when you want to set a Loop
on rhythmic patterns, where the length of the Loop has to be based
considering the metronomic time.
The function Loop by BPM allows you to position the points of Loop in
automatically considering the timing of the metronome expressed in Beats
Per Minute (BPM). The BPM is a measure unit, usually well known to
drummers, that measures the musical time.
Calling the function Loop by BPM by the menu
AudioFileProcessing->Loop->Loop by BPM
shows the following dialog:

This function offered by DSP-Quattro requires some parameters to set:
- BPM: it is the length in the desired BPM
- Beats/Meas: number of Beats for every Measure. This is the number of
hits of metronome before passing to the following measure. In the case of a
time in 3/4, for instance, it is equal to 3.
- Num Of Meas: it is the total number of the measures.
- Add. Beats: it is the number of additional Beats, essential in case the
measures are not all equal ones.
For example, in case you want to position the Loop points on a region equal
to 3 measures in 4/4, plus one more in 3/4, with a BPM time of 120.32, you
must set:
