Technical Parameter
Working principle
Xenon lamp replaces the filament of the light bulb with xenon gas by
utilizing the gas discharge principle, an arc of light is created between
two electrodes in a small capsule filled with a mixture of xenon gas and
halide salts. When high voltage is applied, the gas is ignited to produce an
arc of light. HID does not have filaments like standard halogen bulbs.
Instead an arc of electricity ignites magnetic salts within the bulb to
cause the glow. Due to this technology, HID bulbs last 10 times as long
as halogen, there is no filament to break or burn out. HID also consumes less
electricity than halogen. Halogen bulbs consume approximately 55 watts of
electricity where HID only consumes about 35 watts.
Xenon HID outputs three times the amount of light compared to a standard
halogen bulb. The lamp glows at a higher light temperature and gives it
its distinct color and appearance.

Bracket
1.Open the car bonnet, check the assembly space. If the space is enough,
assemble the lamp directly. If the space is not enough, then remove the
left & right halogen headlamps from the car, then assembly.
2.Drill a hole in the middle of the rear cover with a 21mm hole cutter.

Installation Notice
1.Recommend a professional technician to install the unit.
2.Make sure the engine and light are cool enough before installation to
prevent a burn.
3.Wear gloves in the operation to avoid the electric shock.
4.Don't stare at the xenon light directly to protect your eyes.

Trouble Shooting
1. Problem: Both left and right lamps don't work or flicker after installed
the HID system.
Solution:
1.1. Check the wires. Make sure the positive and negative terminal are
connect correctly.
1.2. Automobile storage battery power is not enough. Change the battery
with 60Ah plus current. If you don't want to change the storage battery,
then add extra relays to bear 15Ah plus. Make sure the fuse is over
20Ah, otherwise it will be damaged easily.
2. Problem: For the cars that have Auto ""ON"" or Daytime Running
Lights; one or both light can't ignite initially, bulb turns off once the car
started, or bulb turns off upon driving.
Solution: Disconnect the Daytime Running Light or Auto Switch ON function
immediately. The automobile storage battery requires the stable voltage is
about 12V plus before igniting. Don't allow to start the HID system with
low voltage. Daytime Running Light is about 7V or lower power output,
and auto switch function is always turn on the headlamp a few second
before igniting, which means battery is focus on ignition and waiting for
alternate back to 12V. Therefore, in both situations, battery has much
less power than 12V to ignite the HID headlight initially. Please take
action as the following:
2.1 Disconnect the fuse or wiring of Daytime Running lights based on the
user manual of the car.
2.2 Switch off the auto “on” function based on the user manual of the
car. To avoid further damage, always start the engine before turn
on the HID system.
4. Problem: HID turns on, but both lamps go out.
Solution: The fuses are blown. Check your fuses box based on the user
manual of the car and change the headlight fuse to 30A.
5. Problem: HID system switches off automatically sometimes.
Solution: There is a chip in HID ballast which is used to detect potential
problem. It will shut the ballast off temporarily if there're any problems
such as impulse suddenly or low input power. It takes about 3 minutes
for the chip to adjust itself and the ballast will be working again. Once this
happens, turn off the HID system and wait about 3 to 5 minutes.
6. Problem: Only one light works, although both lights are installed
properly.
Solution: Check the fuse at this side, change to a new one if it' s blown.
7. Problem: HID works when the engine is off, but it turns off automatically
when the engine is on.
Solution: For some latest cars such as 04 UP BMW, 04 UP Mercedes,
the cars have computers to reject the outsource components such as
HID conversion kit or non-original MP3 Players. Therefore, the only
way to install the HID kit is to plug the HID ballasts to the car's
battery directly.
8. Problem: The HID bulbs changes color when it turns on first time.
Ballasts have some noise at the beginning also
Solution: These are normal phenomenon. At the beginning, ballasts are
getting the power from the automotive storage battery. So it's normal to
have some noise. Ballast power is not stable initially. The bulbs may have
different colors or even flicker a little bit. The light color will become
normal once the power is stable.

3. Problem: Both HID bulbs keep flickering with noise.
Solution:
3.1. Check and make sure the HID bulbs wires have been connected to the
ballasts wire properly and firmly.
3.2.Check the automobile storage battery, make sure it's not aged or
empty.
