9.5. Show Points on RealTime Graph Example of a Real-time Graph: The Show on Real-time Graph menu allows you to watch a graph view of points in real time. To open the real-time graph of a point, on a GS Screen (RUN mode) or on the Watch Or Graph Points page, rightclick on the point value and select Show on Real-time Graph. (The Show on Real-time Graph option appears only for digital and analog points.) Figure 9-23 - Example of a Real-time Graph Figure 9-21 - Show on Real-time Graph Widget Right-click Menu Real-time values of points are plotted on the graph and are depicted by the lines that show from the right side of the graph. Scale values and the Engineering Unit are shown on the Y (vertical) axis, and the time on the X (horizontal) axis. Once the graph window is opened, the line of the point selected will start to show at the right side of the graph and will move to the left as time advances. Up to 10 points can be selected and added onto the graph. To add a point on the graph, right-click the point from a GS Screen or the Watch Or Graph Points page and select Show on Real-time Graph. A message displays on the screen if you try to add a point in excess of 10 points. Figure 9-22 - Show on Real-time Graph Menu From Watch or Graph Points Page The graph of the point selected displays on a separate window (Real-time Graph). Note to enable your browser’s pop-up option so the graph window displays properly. To remove a point, locate the name of the point under the graph legend and click the delete icon next to it. The Real-time Graph window is refreshed automatically with all the points selected minus the point that was removed. Point values with the same Engineering Units are graphed on the same axes otherwise the point value will display on another graph. Use the vertical scroll bar to scroll down the graph window to view more graphs underneath. If any point being graphed gets disconnected, the graph of that point will show a gap to indicate that the point has no value for that duration. The gap will continue to draw with time as long as the point remains disconnected. Show Points on Real-Time Graph Points • 97
