The package D6.32_BIVEE Environment prototype – M24 -VirtualEnterpriseManager.zip
contains the files VirtualEnterpriseManager.war and ver.sql.
First of all, a new database must be created. A sample schema for MySQL is provided in ver.sql,
which creates a basic schema and inserts some test data for users.
The file VirtualEnterpriseManager.war must be deployed on the Liferay portal.
To configure database access, the file jdbc.properties must be edited, changing the following
properties appropriately:
Property name
Value
jdbc.url
JDBC URL of MySQL instance, including hostname and port on
which MySQL is installed, as well as database name in the format
below:
jdbc:mysql://HOSTNAME[:PORT]/DB_NAME
jdbc.username

jdbc.password
Password of MySQL user
