Introduction
Thank you for purchasing the Etekcity T3 Bluetooth speaker. This speaker supports Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR,
providing compatibility with a greater range of mobile phones, smartphones, tablets, laptops, and many
other Bluetooth-enabled devices. Combining modern electronic technology and ultimate portability, the
Etekcity T3 speaker offers high-end audio for an enjoyable listening experience.
Operating instructions
Charging


To charge, connect the included USB cable to a computer’s USB port or 5V USB charger. When
charging, the indicator light will glow red. When the indicator light turns off, charging is
finished. Average charging time to full capacity is 3 hours when off and up to 5 hours during
use. (Please charge speaker before first use.)
When the battery level is drained to a certain point, the indicator light will flash green, and an
audio tone will play. You should recharge the speaker when this occurs to prevent the speaker
from shutting off when the battery is completely drained. Turn the speaker off when not in use.
Turning on/off

To turn on, move the power switch to the “ON” position. The indicator light will illuminate. To
turn the speaker off, move the switch to the “OFF” position.
Changing mode

If a 3.5mm audio cable is plugged in, the speaker will operate in AUX mode. In order to switch
to Bluetooth mode, unplug the 3.5mm audio cable.
Using Bluetooth mode


With the speaker turned on in Bluetooth mode, activate Bluetooth on your mobile phone or
other device. The indicator light on the speaker will be flashing green and blue. Scan for
Bluetooth devices, and select “T3”. If a passcode is required, enter “0000”. After pairing has
completed, you will be able to play music, other audio, and hear calls from the speaker. The
indicator light will slowly flash blue. You can use the VOL-, VOL+, and play/pause buttons to
control the volume, play and pause audio, and answer or refuse calls. The speaker also has a
built-in microphone.
The speaker will automatically connect with the last paired device if turned off and back on,
provided it is within range. After a period of inactivity, the speaker will go into standby mode
and will need to be paired again before use.
Using AUX mode

When a 3.5mm audio cable is plugged in, the speaker will operate in AUX mode. The indicator
light will glow green. You can use the VOL-/VOL+ buttons to control the audio volume.
