 WinBid Reserve User’s Manual Visit http://winbid.net/reserve for the latest information Introduction WinBid Reserve is for US Airways pilots (East) to check their status in the reserve call lists, and to view open flying for the next day and two days out. The WinBid Reserve server creates the data for the WinBid Reserve app. This means that data is nearly instantaneous. The WinBid Reserve server captures all reserve lists for the current calendar day, the next day. It also captures all open flying for the next day and the second day after. The WinBid Reserve app then retrieves the information based on the configured crew base, aircraft, and crew position. Data is aggregated from CATCREW approximately every three hours between the hours of 05:00 and 22:00 (Eastern Time). Data is also aggregated at 13:00. Open flying is listed for two days in the future, and if WinBid Pairings is installed, WinBid Reserve will display any pairing in WinBid Pairings by simply pressing and holding on a pairing number. A pilot does not have to be a reserve to use the open flying features. Preferences Pressing the Preferences button reveals the Preferences screen. Entering your US Airways employee number simply provides for highlighting your position in a reserve list. You can choose a crew base, aircraft, and crew position to view. Your status does not need to be what you select, you do not even need to be a reserve to see open flying for the configured status. The Auto Refresh Data switch will turn on/off the Auto Refresh feature. Auto Refresh will force a data refresh when starting WinBid Reserve. Otherwise, WinBid Reserve will display the last retrieved data for the appropriate dates. If the date has changed from the last time WinBid Data has been run, the data will be retrieved regardless of the Auto Refresh option. To troubleshoot data problems, the Delete All Data button will delete all reserve and open flying data from WinBid Reserve. Changing crew base, aircraft, or crew position will force WinBid Reserve to refresh its data. Using WinBid Reserve Press the desired information at the bottom of the screen, you can choose between the reserve lists for the current date and the next day, as well as open flying for the next day and the day after that. Pressing the Refresh Data button will refresh the data of the currently selected data tab. If an Internet connection is not present, the previously viewed data will be retained. If the Auto Refresh option is switched on, data will be refreshed automatically when the view is selected. If you have the WinBid Pairings app installed on your iPhone, pressing on any pairing number in WinBid Reserve will show that pairing to you. When you are finished viewing a pairing, the Done button will return you to WinBid Reserve. Note: rotating your iPhone/iPod will increase the font size of the pairing.
