Remove hood cover screws and hood cover. Disconnect power plug. Turn pulley lock screws counter clockwise to allow adjustment bolt to move clockwise. Turn adjustment bolt clockwise to tighten drive tension. Tighten lock screws. Reconnect power plug. Test window. If more adjustment is needed go to step “B”. Tighten lock bolt. Replace hood cover and hood cover screws. Step B 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. 10. 11. 12. 13. 14. 15. 16. 17. 18. Remove hood cover screws and hood cover. Disconnect power plug. Adjust pulley tension bracket so the two pieces of the pulley bracket are together (for maximum adjustment later). Remove header cap screws. Remove header cap and unplug logic lock plug. Move door lite to middle of window. Tilt top of door lite away from window to access drive rope and tension spring. Remove drive rope tension spring keeper nut. Remove drive rope tension spring from mounting post. Tie a knot as close to the crimp as possible. Remount drive rope tension spring to mounting stud. Replace drive rope tension spring keeper nut. Tilt door lite back into place (make sure that bearings are riding on plastic guide track). Plug logic lock plug back into logic lock noting key pin (cable should have white stripe facing up). Replace header cap and cap screws. Connect power plug. Test operation. Replace hood cover. SS100 Remove hood cover screws and hood cover. Adjust “R38” potentiometer with small slot screwdriver ( jeweler's screwdrivers work best ) . Turn clockwise for more speed, counter-clockwise for less speed. Test for satisfactory performance. Replace hood cover. SS100 Remove hood cover screws and hood cover. Adjust “R25” potentiometer with small slot screwdriver ( jeweler's screwdrivers work best ) . SS100 Locate the sensor in bottom sill. Locate the small hole to access adjustment potentiometer. Using a small slot screwdriver turn potentiometer clockwise for more sensitivity, counterclockwise for less sensitivity. SS100 Remove hood cover screws and hood cover. Disconnect power plug. Remove header cap screws . Remove header cap and unplug logic lock. Move door lite to middle of window. Tilt top of door lite away from window to access drive rope. Remove drive rope tension spring nut. Remove drive rope nut and washer. Remove old drive rope . Put drive rope on mounting stud. Replace drive rope nut and washer. Loop rope around drive pulley. Loop rope around idler pulley. Attach drive rope tension spring to drive rope tension spring mounting stud. Replace drive rope tension spring nut. Tilt door lite back into place (make sure that bearings are riding on plastic guide track). Plug logic lock plug back into logic lock noting key pin (cable should have white stripe facing up). Replace header cap and cap screws. Connect power plug. Replace hood cover. Test for operation. SS100 Remove glazing spline. Remove glass stops. Remove old glass . Put new glass unit in frame. If replacing fix lite glass; bottom setting blocks are all that are required; for the door lite setting blocks must be used in the bottom, left and right sides of unit. Replace stops. Replace glazing spline. Caulk window with a good quality silicone. SS100 Remove hood cover screws, remove hood cover. Disconnect power plug. Remove header cap screws. Remove header cap and unplug logic lock. Move door lite to center and tilt top of door lite out from window Remove drive rope nut. Remove drive rope from the mounting stud. Disconnect motor from main board. Remove motor mount screws. Remove motor. Place new motor in position. Replace motor mount screws. Reconnect motor to main board. Replace drive rope. Replace drive rope nut. Tilt door lite back into place (make sure that the bearings are riding on the plastic guide track ). Plug logic lock back in (cable should have white stripe facing up). Replace header cap and screws. Connect power plug. Replace hood cover and hood cover screws. SS100 Remove hood cover screws, remove hood cover. Disconnect power plug. Remove header cap screws. Remove header cap and unplug logic lock. Move door lite to center and tilt top of door lite out from window. Remove drive rope tension spring keeper nut. Remove drive rope tension spring from mounting post. Remove pulley lock screws. Remove pulley. Mount new pulley. Replace pulley lock screws. Replace drive rope tension spring on mounting post. Replace drive rope tension spring keeper nut. Tilt door lite back into place (make sure that the bearings are riding on the plastic guide track ). Plug logic lock back in (cable should have white stripe facing up). Replace header cap and screws. Connect power plug. Replace hood cover and hood cover screws. SS100 Remove hood cover screws, remove hood cover. Disconnect power plug. Unplug Transformer connector. Unplug motor connector. Unplug harness cable connector. Slide out old board. On new board make sure jumper marked “JP1” is set for mag setting. Slide in new board. Plug in harness connector (there is a key pin to line up connector properly). Plug in motor connector (will only go in one way). Plug in transformer connector (will only go in one way). Reconnect power plug. Test operation and adjust speed settings as in chapter 5 and 6. Replace hood cover and hood cover screws. SS100 Remove hood cover screws, remove hood cover. Disconnect power plug. Using a flat pry bar peel up proximity sensor cover . Remove proximity sensor cover (using a slight twisting motion works best). Remove ground strap screw. Unplug sensor. Mark a spot on sill to reference mounting of new optic. Gently pry up and remove old sensor. Remove backing of two sided mounting tape. Mount new sensor noting reference marks. Replace ground strap screw. Snap in sensor cover (make sure to put cover back in so adjustment hole lines up with adjustment pot). Reconnect power plug. Replace hood cover and hood cover screws. Test and adjust as in chapter 7. Remove hood cover screws, remove hood cover. Disconnect power plug. Unplug end sensor. Remove end sensor mounting screws. Remove end sensor. Insert new end sensor. Replace end sensor mounting screws. Connect end sensor (note white stripe facing up. To make sure the connector is connected properly there is a keying pin). 9. Reconnect power. 10. Replace hood cover and hood cover screws. SS100 Remove hood cover screws, remove hood cover. Disconnect power plug. Remove header cap screws. Remove header cap and unplug logic lock. Unplug end sensor. Unplug proximity sensor. Tie string around proximity sensor connector. Gently pull harness cable from top of window thru side jamb access holes (be careful not to let go of string at bottom of window, you will need it to help feed the new cable in). Unplug main connector from main board. Cut zap straps holding harness cable down and remove old cable. Plug new main connector into main board. Main harness cable connector is key pinned. Plug in end sensor plug (White stripe on connector facing up. The end sensor is the wire with the red stripe. Both end sensor and logic lock have the same connector but are key pinned differently so they cannot be connected to the wrong part). Tie string onto harness cable proximity sensor plug at top of window. Pull string gently from bottom of window feeding the harness cable thru access holes in side jamb. Remove string and connect proximity sensor (White stripe facing up). Strap down cable to zap strap mounting blocks. Plug in logic lock (white stripe facing up) and replace header cap. Replace header cap screws. With door closed use a razor knife cut through bottom track as shown on pictures below (track is in two pieces to allow for expansion and contraction. This joint is hidden under the door lite). 2. Remove old track. 3. With door open use a razor knife cut through bottom track as shown on pictures below. 4. Remove old track. 5. Clean any remaining silicone from sill. 6. With door opened apply small bead of silicone in track mounting groove starting at side jamb for 2-3 inches. 7. Snap first track into place, tight to side jamb with bump on track facing inside of window. 8. With door closed apply small bead of silicone in track mounting groove starting at side jam for 2-3 inches. 9. Snap second track into place, tight to side jamb with bump on track facing inside of window. 10. Allow time for silicone to dry before operating window. SS100 Remove hood cover screws, remove hood cover. Disconnect power plug. Remove header cap screws. Remove header cap and unplug logic lock. Remove logic lock mounting screws. Remove logic lock. Insert new logic lock. Replace logic lock mounting screws. Connect logic lock plug (white stripe facing up) Replace header cap and header cap screws. Reconnect power plug. Replace hood cover and hood cover screws.
