Draining the condensate bottle
• Remove and empty the blue condensate bottle and reinsert (Fig. 77).
Dispose of waste solvents with care
according to local regulations and
the waste management policy of the
company or institution.

Exchanging the activated carbon filter
• The life of the carbon filter cartridge (13) will
depend on the reagent types used and the
frequency of vacuum cycles (which expel air
from the instrument through the filter).
• In general, carbon filter cartridges should be
replaced after approx. 3 months. (Fig. 78)
After replacing the filter press open the menu
SMART MONITOR to reset the filter age to "0".

• Prior to changing the filter we recommend a
smart clean.
