Hydraulic Components and their Functions SDC / DHC 43 7.1.17 Heat generator forced dissipation Function Possible settings When the temperature in the heat generator exceeds the set maximum temperature limit, any excess energy is dissipated into circuits downstream. This function applies to all controllers on the bus system. OFF No heat dissipation Dissipation into DHW tank Only for independent DHW tanks CAUTION Thermal mixer valve at water heater outlet obligatory because of scalding hazard. Dissipation into heating circuits Any excess heat is dissipated into existing heating circuits, without exceeding the set maximum temperature. The intended room temperature may be exceeded for short periods. If the respective circuits are equipped with room stations, the thermostat function should be activated. CAUTION For floor heating a contact thermostat must be installed to control forced switch-off of the pumps. Dissipation into buffer tank 7.1.18 Flue gas temperature monitoring NOTE Only if Parameter 8 VI-1 = 13 – Flue gas sensor set in the “Hydraulics” menu. NOTE A flue gas sensor can only be connected to the variable sensor input VI 1. Due to the high temperatures a PT 1000 sensor is used for this purpose. The control device automatically evaluates the sensor data, which are different from the data supplied by the standard sensors. NOTE When a sensor fault is detected with the fuel gas sensor active, and if flue gas monitoring was set for temporary disable or permanent inhibit (safety functions), there will be a heat generator switch-off in addition to the malfunction message. Function This function controls the necessary measures in case the fuel gas temperature exceeds the allowable limit. Only display of fuel gas temperature No follow-up function; the actual fuel gas temperature is displayed in the Information display. Heat generator disable for set time when limit is exceeded When the temperature limit is exceeded the heat generator is disabled for the set time and a malfunction message is triggered. Heat generator disable when limit is exceeded When the temperature limit is exceeded the heat generator is disabled and inhibited permanently. It can only be unlocked by a reset in the “Malfunction messages” menu. EN2H-0221GE51 R1105 78
