Dear parents,
Thank you for purchasing the CYBEX Solution X–fix High Back Booster Seat. We are proud
to bring this German engineered seat to North America. We hope the Solution X–fix will make
your child’s travel both safer and more pleasant, as well as making installation and use for you as
simple and easy as possible.
The Solution X–fix has undergone extensive testing and meets or exceeds all applicable Federal
Motor Vehicle Safety Standards in North America, as well as all applicable standards in Europe.
In four independent German magazine tests in 2009 and 2010, the Solution X-fix was rated the
number one High Back Booster Seat in both front and side impact protection. Additonally, in 2010
the Insurance Institute of Highway Safety (IIHS) awarded the Solution X-fix a "Best Bet" based on
how well the booster seat will position the vehicle seat belt on your child.
Statistics show that over 75% of car seats are installed incorrectly! Please read and follow these
instructions to install this booster seat correctly, even if the installation and use of this booster
seat might seem simple and intuitive. The safety of your child depends on it! Although many
booster seats may be used without the backrest attached, the Solution X-fix should NEVER BE
USED WITHOUT THE BACKREST ATTACHED as it dramatically reduces the protection in
a crash.
We recommend keeping your young child in a properly sized and installed car seat as long as
possible before making the switch to the Solution X-fix High Back Booster Seat.
No car seat can guarantee protection from injury in every situation, but proper use helps reduce
the risk of death or serious injury. If you have any questions or need assistance, please contact
