c. Conditions of charter flights exploitation
The air transporter must respect the following conditions:
- Charter flights that are organized by tour operators are reserved to tourist clientele. The
merchandised seats are assorted of services relative to the accommodation or tourist circuits’
organization;
- Passengers using charter flights must hold a two-ways ticket (on departure from Morocco or from
abroad);
- Every journey must consist in a two-ways trip with the same carrier. Though, the return can be
performed by another carrier on behalf a demand from the one that has been allowed to operate
the charter flight;
- Around the hub of Casablanca (airports Casablanca-Mohamed V and Rabat-Sale), the maximum
admitted seat only rate is 30%.
However, during months of high season (June, July and August), the maximum percentage
admitted around the hub of Casablanca is limited to 40%.
- It is forbidden for any air company performing charter flights to operate, with a schedule and a
frequency that can carry prejudice to the scheduled flights; between points served by a company
providing scheduled services during stated days
- Any modification of a previously authorized program of flights must get the prior agreement of
the DAC;
d. Miscellaneous
- The air transporter can operate with double touch[*] in Morocco;
- The authorized air transporter can carry cargo on the return flights subsequent to a notification
sent to the DAC and to the concerned airport.
The exploitation authorization describes the conditions of flight execution as well as the list
of airports to be served.
