QTY – column lists the quantity of the part used in that area of the machine. DESCRIPTION – column is a brief description of the part. SERIAL NO. FROM – column indicates the first machine the part number is applicable to. When the machine design has changed, this column will indicate serial number of applicable machine. The main illustration shows the most current design of the machine. The boxed illustrations show older designs. NOTES – column for information not noted by the other columns. WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury: Use only indoors. Do not use outdoors or expose to rain. Use only as described in this manual. Use only manufacturer’s recommended components and attachments. If the machine is not working properly, has been dropped, damaged, left outdoors, or dropped into water, return it to an authorized service center. Do not operate the machine with any openings blocked. Keep openings free of debris that may reduce airflow. Machine can cause a fire when operating near flammable vapors or materials. Do not operate this machine near flammable fluids, dust or vapors. This machine is suitable for commercial use, for example in hotels, schools, hospitals, factories, shops and offices for more than normal housekeeping purposes. Maintenance and repairs must be done by qualified personnel. During operation, attention shall be paid to other persons, especially children. When leaving unattended, secure against unintentional movement. The machine shall only be operated by instructed and authorized persons. When leaving unattended, switch off or lock the main power switch to prevent unauthorized use. Do not handle the plug or machine with wet hands. Do not unplug machine by pulling on cord. To unplug, grasp the plug, not the cord. Do not use with damaged cord or plug. Follow all instructions in this manual concerning grounding the machine. Do not pull or carry by cord, use cord as a handle, close a door on cord, or pull cord around sharp edges or corners. Do not pull/run machine over cord. Keep cord away from heated surfaces. Connect to a properly grounded outlet. See Grounding Instructions. Use only on GFCI protected receptacles. Do not use this fan with any solid-state speed control device. SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS 86039110 04/12/07 5 HAZARD INTENSITY LEVEL The following symbols are used throughout this guide as indicated in their descriptions: HAZARD INTENSITY LEVEL There are three levels of hazard intensity identified by signal words -WARNING and CAUTION and FOR SAFETY. The level of hazard intensity is determined by the following definitions: ! WARNING WARNING - Hazards or unsafe practices which COULD result in severe personal injury or death. ! CAUTION CAUTION - Hazards or unsafe practices which could result in minor personal injury or product or property damage. FOR SAFETY: To Identify actions which must be followed for safe operation of equipment. Report machine damage or faulty operation immediately. Do not use the machine if it is not in proper operating condition. Following is information that signals some potentially dangerous conditions to the operator or the equipment. Read this information carefully. Know when these conditions can exist. Locate all safety devices on the machine. Please take the necessary steps to train the machine operating personnel. FOR SAFETY: DO NOT OPERATE MACHINE: Unless Trained and Authorized. Unless Operation Guide is Read and understood. In Flammable or Explosive areas. In areas with possible falling objects. WHEN SERVICING MACHINE: Avoid moving parts. Do not wear loose clothing; jackets, shirts, or sleeves when working on the machine. Use Windsor approved replacement parts. 6 86039110 04/12/07 230V GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS THIS PRODUCT IS FOR COMMERCIAL USE ONLY. ELECTRICAL: This machine operates on a standard 230V, A.C. power circuit . The amp, hertz, and voltage are listed on the data label found on each machine. Using voltages above or below those indicated on the data label will cause serious damage to the motors. EXTENSION CORDS: If an extension cord is used, the wire size must be at least one size larger than the power cord on the machine, and must be limited to 50 feet (15.5m) in length. ! WARNING Improper connection of the equipmentgrounding conductor can result in a risk of electric shock. Check with a qualified electrician or service person if you are in doubt as to whether the outlet is properly grounded. Do not modify the plug provided with the appliance - if it will not fit the outlet, have a proper outlet installed by a qualified electrician. GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS: This appliance must be grounded. If it should malfunction or break down, grounding provides a path of least resistance for electric current to reduce the risk of electric shock. This appliance is equipped with a cord having an equipment-grounding conductor and grounding plug. The plug must be inserted into an appropriate outlet that is properly installed and grounded in accordance with all local codes and ordinances. 86039110 04/12/07 7 OPERATION & MAINTENANCE OPERATION 1. Open the doors or windows if possible to aid in ventilation. 2. Ensure that the unit is turned off, plug the power cord into the outlet. 3. Turn the switch to the desired speed. 4. Turn the unit off before un-plugging the power cord from the outlet. MAINTENANCE 1. Frequently inspect power cord for frayed or damaged insulation. ! WARNING: Remove machine power cord from electrical source before making any repairs or adjustments to machine. POWER CORD/SWITCH Power cord and switch can be serviced. 1. Remove the 4 screws holding switch down. 2. To replace switch unplug wires and replace switch. See wiring diagram. 3. To replace power cord see step 1. 4. Unplug wires, loosen strain relief and remove cord. 5. Replace power cord. See wiring diagram. CAUTION: When reinstalling motor and fan, make sure the wires are positioned and secured so they will not touch fan during rotation. Advertencia Para reducir el riesgo de incendio, descarga eléctrica o lesiones: Utilice la máquina únicamente en interiores. No la utilice en exteriores ni la exponga a la lluvia. Utilícela únicamente como se explica en el manual. Utilice solamente los componentes y accesorios recomendados por el fabricante. Si la máquina no funciona correctamente o si se cayó, se dañó, si se la dejó a la intemperie o si se cayó al agua, llévela a un centro de servicio autorizado. No opere la máquina si los orificios están bloqueados. Mantenga los orificios libres de residuos ya que éstos pueden reducir la circulación del aire. La máquina puede producir un incendio si se la opera cerca de vapores o materiales inflamables. No opere la máquina cerca de fluidos, polvos o vapores inflamables. El mantenimiento y las reparaciones deben ser realizados por personal calificado. Advertencia ESTE PRODUCTO ES SÓLO PARA USO COMERCIAL: ELÉCTRICO: Esta máquina funciona con un circuito eléctrico estándar de 230 VCA El amperaje, nivel de hertz y el voltaje están mencionados en la etiqueta de datos que contiene cada máquina. Si se utilizan voltajes superiores o inferiores a los indicados en la etiqueta de datos se le causará un daño serio a los motores. CABLE DE ENERGÍA/ INTERRUPTOR DE ENERGÍA Es posible realizarle mantenimiento al cable y al interruptor de energía 1. Retire los 4 tornillos que sostienen el interruptor 2. Para sustituir el interruptor desenchufe los cables y sustituya el interruptor Consulte el diagrama de cableado 3. Para sustituir el cable de energía consulte el paso 1 4. Desenchufe los cables, afloje el descompresor y retire el cable. 5. Sustituya el cable de energía Consulte el diagrama de cableado PRECAUCIÓN: Cuando vuelva a instalar el motor y el ventilador, asegúrese de que los cables estén ubicados y asegurados de manera que no toquen el ventilador durante la rotación. INFORMATIONS ÉLECTRIQUES Cet appareil fonctionne sur un circuit électrique standard de 230 V en courant alternatif. Les informations en matière d'intensité, de fréquence hertzienne et de tension sont indiquées sur l'étiquette figurant sur chaque appareil. Le fait d'utiliser des tensions supérieures ou inférieures à celles indiquées sur l'étiquette signalétique endommagera gravement le moteur. ! WARNING Le raccordement incorrect du conducteur de terre d'équipement peut entraîner des risques d'électrocution. Vérifiez auprès d'un électricien qualifié ou d'un responsable de l'entretien si vous avez quelque doute que ce soit quant au raccordement à la terre de votre prise murale. CONSIGNES DE MISE À LA TERRE : Cet appareil doit être relié à la terre. Ouvrez les portes ou les fenêtres, si possible, pour favoriser la ventilation. 2. Vérifiez que l'appareil est éteint, puis branchez la fiche dans la prise murale. 3. Mettez l'interrupteur sur la vitesse désirée. 4. Éteignez l'appareil avant de débrancher le cordon électrique de la fiche. MAINTENANCE 1. Inspectez fréquemment le cordon électrique pour vérifier que l'isolation n'est pas effilochée ni endommagée. ! ATTENTION Débranchez de la source électrique le cordon électrique de l'appareil avant de procéder à quelconques travaux de maintenance ou quelconques réglages de l'appareil. CORDON ÉLECTRIQUE/INTERRUPTEUR Il est possible de procéder à l'entretien du cordon électrique et de l'interrupteur. 1. Enlevez les 4 vis tenant l'interrupteur en place. 2. Pour remplacer l'interrupteur, débranchez les fils et remplacez l'interrupteur. Voir le schéma de câblage. 3. Pour remplacer le cordon électrique, reportezvous à l'étape 1. 4. Débranchez les fils, relâchez la tension et enlevez le cordon. 5. Remplacez le cordon électrique. Voir le schéma de câblage. ATTENTION : Au moment de remettre en place le moteur et le ventilateur, assurez-vous que les fils sont bien en place et qu'ils ne toucheront pas le ventilateur pendant que celui-ci tournera. Benutzen Sie die vom Hersteller empfohlenen Ersatzteile. 6GER 86039110 04/12/07 ANWEISUNGEN ZUR 230V ERDUNG DIESES PRODUKT IST AUSSCHLIESSLICH ZUR KOMMERZIELLEN VERWENDUNG BESTIMMT. ELEKTRISCH: Diese Maschine wird über einen standardgemäßen 230V AC-Leistungskreis betrieben. Die Amp-, Hertz- und Spannungswerte sind an jeder Maschine auf dem Datenschild aufgeführt. Der Einsatz mit Spannungen unter oder über den auf dem Datenschild angegeben Werten führt zu schwerwiegenden Beschädigungen der Motoren. ! WARNUNG Ein unsachgemäßer Anschluss des Leiters zur Erdung von Geräten kann zu Stromschlaggefahr führen. Bestehen hinsichtlich der ordnungsgemäßen Erdung des Anschlusses Zweifel, ist ein qualifizierter Elektriker oder Wartungstechniker hinzuzuziehen. Der mit der Maschine gelieferte Stecker darf in keiner Weise modifiziert werden – kann er nicht an die vorhandene Steckdose angeschlossen werden, ist von einem qualifizierten Elektriker eine geeignete Steckdose zu installieren. VERLÄNGERUNGSKABEL: Bei Verwendung eines Verlängerungskabels muss das Kabel um mindestens eine Nummer größer als das Stromkabel an der Maschine und auf 15,5m Länge begrenzt sein. ERDUNGSANWEISUNGEN: Diese Maschine muss geerdet sein. Im Falle einer Störung oder eines Ausfalls gewährleistet die Erdung für den Strom einen Weg minimalen Widerstands, um so das Risiko eines Stromschlags zu verringern. Diese Maschine ist mit einem Kabel mit Leiter und Stecker zur Erdung von Geräten versehen. Der Stecker ist an eine entsprechende Steckdose, die in Übereinstimmung mit allen örtlich geltenden Vorschriften und Normen vorschriftsmäßig installiert und geerdet ist, anzuschließen. 86039110 04/12/07 7GER BETRIEB & WARTUNG BETRIEB 1. Öffnen Sie Türen und Fenster, soweit möglich, um die Ventilation zu verbessern. 2. Vergewissern Sie sich, dass die Maschine ausgeschaltet ist, und schließen Sie das Stromkabel an die Steckdose an. 3. Stellen Sie den Schalter auf die gewünschte Geschwindigkeit. 4. Schalten Sie die Maschine ab, bevor Sie das Stromkabel von der Steckdose abziehen. WARTUNG 1. Untersuchen Sie das Stromkabel häufig auf ausgefranste oder schadhafte Isolierung. ! WARNUNG Vor der Durchführung von Reparaturen oder Justierungen an der Maschine ist das Stromkabel von der Steckdose abzuziehen. STROMKABEL/SCHALTER Stromkabel und Schalter können gewartet werden. 1. Entfernen Sie die vier Schrauben, mit denen der Schalter befestigt ist. 2. Lösen Sie die Drähte und ersetzen Sie dann den Schalter. Siehe Verdrahtungsschaubild 3. Muss das Stromkabel ersetzt werden, siehe Schritt 1. 4. Lösen Sie die Drähte und die Zugentlastung und entfernen Sie das Kabel. 5. Ersetzen Sie das Stromkabel. Siehe Verdrahtungsschaubild VORSICHT: Wenn Motor und Gebläse wieder installiert werden, ist darauf zu achten, dass Drähte so positioniert und gesichert werden, dass sie nicht das rotierende Gebläse berühren.
