9. Malfunctions and remedial measure faults

Battery voltage too high
- Battery not available

Relay error
- Relay contact in control unit is
stuck together
- The plant is currentless
- The display is defective
- Replace the control unit
The display of the control
does not show anything or shows
the message "Mains failure"
- Check pre-fuse and / or earth leakage circuit breaker
- Call after-sales service, adapt
maximum extraction time
- Maximum extraction time too
short
- Uncontrolled inflow to the plant
(e.g. rain water, plant leaks)
- Water cannot drain off (e.g.
backup, compressed air syphon
hose not in drain)
- Floating switch too low (setting
see floating switch)
- Ensure that there is no inflow of
external water into the plant
- Provide free drainage.
- Replace the floating switch
- Control the impact load
- If it is not possible to restore the
function even during longer manual operation, remove the compressed air syphon and rinse
clean
- Adapt the inflow quantities or expand the plant
The water level in the preliminary
sedimentation is exceptionally
high, while the aeration exhibits a
normal water level
- Excessive impact load on plant
- Compressed air syphon for the
feeding is clogged
- Connect the plant to the grid
- External water may not penetrate into sewage treatment plants
for a longer period of time. If necessary seal concrete tank or
eliminate other causes.
The water level in the preliminary
sedimentation and in the aeration
is exceptionally high
- Plant undersized
- Mains failure
- Exceedingly high external water
inflow. In case of heavy rainfalls
due to surface water or on soaked soils due to a leaky tank.
- Compressor does not work
- Compressed air syphon for clear
water extraction is clogged
- Pressure hose leaky or no longer
connected.
- Check function in manual mode.
If it is not possible to start up the
compressor, call the after-sales
service.
- If it is not possible to restore the
function even during longer manual operation, remove the compressed air syphon and rinse
clean.
- Check connections and pressure hose and if necessary restore
The display shows the
message "Extraction"
