1. What the warning symbols mean
In the instruction manual
Symbols for danger and other information are used in the instruction manual. The following symbols are used:

Failure to observe the safety instructions may result in injury or in damage to the machine,
to the environment or to property.
NOTE:
This symbol shows that the information is important for understanding how the machine works.
These symbols appear on the machine
Warning symbols on the machine must not be removed, covered or made illegible. If the warning symbols have
been damaged, they must be renewed immediately.
WARNING – To reduce the risk of injury, read the instructions thoroughly.
Risk of slipping.
Wear safety shoes when working with the machine.
Wear safety gloves when working with the machine.
Wear safety glasses, ear protectors and a helmet when working with the machine.
Never remove or modify safety components and guards on the machine.
WARNING – Never use your hands to remove a log stuck in the log splitter.
Used oil from the machine must be disposed of properly. Do not put it in the domestic waste. Make sure
that it does not enter the natural environment. If you are unsure how to proceed, ask your local authority.
Only one person at a time should use the log splitter.
