Do not connect the communication coupler
while the unit is turned on. Otherwise, the
unit may not operate properly.
When connecting the unit, make sure that
dust and liquids do not enter the unit. If dust
or liquids enter the unit, the unit may not be
able to communicate correctly.
To disconnect the Power Tuner
1. Turn off the unit. (See “Turning the Power Tuner on or off” on page 6.)
2. Disconnect the communication coupler
from the wire harness coupler.
TIP
Do not disconnect the communication coupler
while the unit is turned on. Otherwise, the unit
may not operate properly.
3. Install the coupler cap onto the wire harness coupler on the vehicle where the
Power Tuner was connected.
4. Install the coupler cap onto the communication coupler.
