Replacing sanding band
•
Replace rest.
•
Start grinder and let it run freely for a few
seconds to check belt is correctly fitted.
Cleaning and maintenance
The grinder can be cleaned by wiping its exterior
parts with a damp cloth. Grinding dust and filings
can be removed using a brush or compressed air.
Do not use corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents.

Follow local environmental regulations:
Dispose of unwanted electrical
equipment at an approved refuse
disposal centre.
•
Remove rest by band.
•
Slacken screws on cover (e) using a
screwdriver, remove cover.
•
Loosen lock handle (3), and press tab (i) to
release spring (j). Slacken sanding belt (4).
Retighten lock handle.
•
Remove sanding belt and fit new one to the
pulleys (f and g).
•
Lock handle and push upper pulley (g) as
far as it will go backwards to tighten belt.
Retighten lock handle.
•
Adjust belt position if required using screw
(h), and replace cover.
