What is ‘Motorola?’ You will see the term Motorola when referring to DCC a lot in this manual, because...well Motorola is essentially 99% DCC (there are only really a few functions that are specific to motorola). Motorola is primarily used for DCC functions on 3-Rail Engines in Europe, and is most frequently used with a Marklin controller. Chances are, if you are using Motorola you already know it. Otherwise just stick to DCC if that is what you are operating! UNPACKING YOUR ENGINE Removing and Unwrapping Your Engine Carefully remove and unwrap the model on a soft surface. By nature, models with high levels of detail have some small fragile parts. Carefully remove any foam packing pieces that may be surrounding the model. What Else is in the Box? The following items are packed with your engine. Engineer's Guide (1) You probably know that since you're reading it. Replacement Traction Tires (4) Your locomotive is equipped with two neoprene rubber traction tires on each powered truck block. While these tires are extremely durable, you may need to replace them at some point. M.T.H. HO F-3/F-7 PS3E+ Diesel Engine 4
