User Guide
Thanks you for purchasing this extension.
I. Installation Guide
Please make sure your Magento store comes ready before you integrate our
extensions. If your store has not been available yet, get it quickly
following Magento Installation Guide
You just need follow steps below to get our extensions ready for your Magento
store:
1. Upload folders app, js and skin from our download package to your
Web server's document root (from here on, referenced as{docroot}). These
files will overwrite default folders app, js and skin in your Magento folder, you
should see a directory layout like this:
{docroot} /magento/app/

js/
lib/
LICENSE.txt
media/
pear/

2. Login your Magento Admin area (ex: access Magento Admin area on a
stage localhost:http://localhost/magento/index.php/admin/)
3. Navigate to Magentothem > Featured Products Slider > Configuration.
You will see installed Featured Products Slider extension, click extension's
name tab to go to extension configuration page.
II. Configuration
1. Please make sure Featured Products Slider extension get installed
properly
2. Login your Magento Admin area
3. Navigate to Magentothem > Featured Products Slider >
Configuration and configure default criteria as per screenshort below:

Below is parameters explanation:
•
Enabled: include yes/no module parameter
•
Auto slider: enable auto scroller product
•
Module Title: Title of module slider
•
Width of Slider: Width of panel slider will be displayed.
•
Height of Slider: Height of panel slider will be displayed.
•
Show Add to Cart: Defines whether the Add to Cart is displayed or
not

Show Add to Wishlist: Defines whether the Add to Wishlist is
displayed or not
•
Show Add to Compare: Defines whether the Add to Compare is
displayed or not
•
Show Short desciption: Defines whether the short description is
displayed or not
•
Short description max length: Max length of short description is
displayed.
•
Qty of Products: Product quantity will be displayed on product
slider.
•
Products Scroll: Product quantity will be scroller on product slider.
•
Width of Thumbnail: Width of thumbnail image will be displayed.
•
Height of Thumbnail: Height of thumbnail image will be displayed.
You need set product to display slider, please follow steps:
Go to Catalog > Manage Products > Select product > set “Featured =
yes”.

You can repeat steps above to configure Featured attribute for other
products
4. Default the Featured products slider display in content cms
homepage.
If you want change position display module you go to
app/design/frontend/default/default/layout/featuredproductslider.xml
Then change reference
