3.5 Troubleshooting the system Any reagent can go bad. This is why I store things in small aliquots frozen away. Just put aside the suspicious aliquot and see if the system works again. If not, try exchanging key reagents with someone. I always suspect transcript first, especially if it is not freshly prepared.
