Cause and corrective measures
A fault has occurred in the internal communication of the
inverter. The inverter continues feeding into the electricity grid.
Corrective measures:

Sensor fault
• Contact the SMA Service Line (see Section 15 "Contact"
(page 91)).
Inverter input A is defective.
Corrective measures:
• Contact the SMA Service Line (see Section 15 "Contact"
(page 91)).
Inverter input B is defective.
Corrective measures:
• Contact the SMA Service Line (see Section 15 "Contact"
(page 91)).
A temperature sensor in the inverter is faulty. The inverter
interrupts feed-in operation.
Corrective measures:

• Contact the SMA Service Line (see Section 15 "Contact"
(page 91)).
Disturbance sensor The ambient-temperature sensor is faulty. The display does not
switch off at temperatures below ‒25°C and may be

SD card defective
• Contact the SMA Service Line (see Section 15 "Contact"
(page 91)).
The SD card is not formatted correctly or is defective. Update
failed. The inverter continues feeding into the electricity grid.
Corrective measures:
• Re-format the SD card.

• Re-save the files to the SD card.
Parameter file not The parameter file was not found or is defective. Update failed.
