Figure G–1 Use of LSE and SCA for Multimodular Development Project Work Area Compile Debugger, Source, or Reference Copy Area CMS Library .ANA Files Load SCA Library Individual Developer Work Area Compile Some Source Code Modules Pointers to Source for LSE .ANA Files Load Individual SCA Library Pointers to SCA Information for LSE ZK−5850−GE When a team member wants to do additional development work on specific modules, that member sets up an individual work area, which might contain the following: • Copies of source and object modules from the project libraries • Local SCA libraries that contain copies of the module information To make available all the capabilities of SCA/LSE integration, the team member informs LSE of the locations of that member’s current sources and related source information. Using LSE, all team members can effectively ‘‘see through’’ their own individual work areas to the project work area and possibly to other individual work areas. The following sections provide a general overview of SCA and discuss some of the commands that are available to you when you use SCA within LSE.
