Chapter 5: Using the web interface The phone book shows all entries with entry number, name and phone number. Empty place holders are also included. To sort the phone book, click the title of the column you wish to sort by. For example, to sort by the names in the phone book alphabetically, click on Name in the top row of the phone book. The phone book is divided into subpages. To select the subpages you want, click the relevant link at the bottom of the page. Short dial The entry number in the phone book is the Short dial number. When making a call from the EXPLORER 300 you can use this number instead of dialing the entire phone number. Simply dial 0 <short dial> followed by # or off-hook key. Example: To call the third entry in the phone book from an analog phone, take the phone off hook and dial 03 #. Editing phone book entries Adding a new entry To add a new entry, do as follows: 1. In the phone book, locate the empty entry number where you want to add the new phone number and click New. 2. Type in the name and phone number of the new entry and click Save entry. The new name and number are now listed at the specified entry number in the phone book. Modifying an entry in the phone book To modify an entry, do as follows: 1. In the phone book, click Edit next to the entry you want to modify. 2. Modify the name or number as wanted and click Save entry. The name and/or number in the selected entry is now replaced with the new information. Deleting an entry in the phone book To delete an entry, click Delete next to the entry you want to delete. Deleting all entries in the phone book To delete all the entries in the phone book, click Delete all entries in phone book at the bottom of the PHONE BOOK window.
