The Centre for Longitudinal Studies (CLS) is a department within the Faculty of Policy and Society of the Institute of Education, University of London. The department houses an ESRC Resource Centre devoted to the
collection, management and analysis of large-scale longitudinal data. It is
the home of three internationally-renowned birth cohort studies: the 1958
National Child Development Study (NCDS), the 1970 British Cohort Study
(BCS) and the Millennium Cohort Study (MCS).
