TESTNET User Guide To test socket - Plug into socket using normal cable. To test PC card - Plug into socket using crossover cable. Once connected press press the TEST button. If Link LED comes on then service is OK. 10 or 100 Mb/s LED will indicate speed. RX LED may flash intermittently to show packets from the hub. FDX LED will light if full duplex service. If only 10 Mb/s LED is lit then service is not present. If Battery Low LED comes on when TEST button is pressed, replace battery.
