INTRODUCTION
OPTION 2 - Line recording (using telephone lead)
This product will work with virtually ANY type of telephone and will record
to the majority of recording devices available on the market, such as MP3
player, Dictaphone, tape machine and PC/MAC. For PC/MAC you must have
recording software installed.

Plug the telephone lead into the recording adaptor and into a
telephone line wall socket using a socket doubler.

Plug the telephone into the other socket of the doubler.
This Recording Adaptor can connect to the handset of your telephone or
the telephone line if your telephone is cordless.

Plug the audio lead into the MIC input of your chosen recording device.

CONNECTING
There are 2 options for connecting:
OPTION 1 - Handset recording (using curly lead)

Detach the handset from the telephone and plug it into the front of
the recording adaptor.

Plug the curly lead into the recording adaptor and into the handset
socket of the telephone.

Plug the audio lead into the MIC input of your chosen recording device.

NOTE - For both installations
If you can hear your own voice but not the other party’s, move the
switch on the side of recording adaptor to the alternative position and try
again.
