Ivory II the elements will be automatically restored to the previous setting at the time of interruption. Fig.37 Safety cut-out The unit is fitted with a non-resettable thermal cut-out safety device. In the event of abnormal operation which could cause unsafe temperatures within the unit, the device will disconnect the heating elements. It will require a visit from a qualified engineer to determine the nature of the fault and replace the safety device, once the unit has been repaired. ADJUSTING THE SHOWERHEAD Five showerhead patterns are available (as shown in fig.37).Adjustment is by turning the bezel on the showerhead in either direction until the desired pattern is obtained. CLEANING Do not use abrasive or solvent cleaning fluids. The shower unit, riser rail, hose, etc. should be cleaned using a soft cloth and warm water. It is advised before cleaning, to turn the isolation switch off, thus avoiding the shower being accidentally switched on. IT IS IMPORTANT TO KEEP THE SHOWERHEAD CLEAN TO MAINTAIN THE PERFORMANCE OF THE SHOWER. The hardness of the water will determine the frequency of cleaning. For example, if the shower is used every day in a very hard water area, it may be necessary to clean the showerhead on a weekly basis. Showerhead removal procedure Remove the showerhead from flexible hose. Remove the spray cartridge by locating the spray key provided into the spray cartridge recesses and unscrew anti-clockwise (fig.38). Remove the two small black ‘O’ ring seals from the rear of the spray cartridge (fig.39). Rinse the ‘O’ rings clean. Scrub the spray cartridge with a small stiff bristle brush (not wire bristles) to remove limescale deposits (fig.40). Pay particular attention to exterior grooves on the spray cartridge. DO NOT use a pin or similar to poke the holes otherwise, the efficiency of the shower spray will be impaired. Fig.38 17 Fig.39
