Set-up DZ-S2 6HWXS ,QLWLDOVWDUWXS 6HFXUHWKHVLWH z Secure the area where the wall sawing The wall sawing system is delivered ready for use. All instructions in this chapter are equally valid at the initial start-up. system will be used. z Access by those not involved should be prevented. z When cutting walls consider the other side of the wall. 3UHSDUDWRU\RSHUDWLRQV z Secure this area as well. Always proceed as follows: 6HFXULQJFXWRXWV z Sort out fundamental conditions z Secure the site z Decide on position and sequence of the cuts z Select saw blade z Carry out a visual inspection Always pay detailed attention to the following before using the system: z Secure cutouts from walls and especially from ceilings by suitable means, e.g. crane, supports, etc. z Check the weight of concrete. (1m³= 2400-2700 kg) 3RVLWLRQRIFXWV z Find out about the concrete to be sawed. - Where does the reinforcement run? - Is it heavily or lightly reinforced? 3RVLWLRQRIVXSSO\OLQHV - Is it suitable for steel plug fixing? z Determine the position of pipes and cables z Decide on the position and sequence of in walls and ceilings. :DWHU Where does the cooling water used for sawing cuts before starting work. For example, for a door cutout carry out the bottom cut first, then the side cuts and finally the top cut. Cut across the reinforcement if possible flow to? z Think about water damage to the electrical supply. The wrong sequence of cuts can lead to jamming of the blade or to damage to the equipment. 5DLOOHQJWK z Determine the rail length for the intended cut. z Leave sufficient projection for the wall saw head.
