Using the Configuration Mode
This chapter discusses the configuration tasks assigned to the IT Administrator and Manager
roles.

If your role is that of an IT Administrator or Manager, you are responsible for the following:
• Handling the databases
• Applying roles to users
• Understanding security, users, and groups
• Creating local users and network groups
• Creating projects and subprojects
• Maintaining compounds in the compounds datastore
Y To access the Configuration mode
Click Configuration from the dashboard or the navigation pane.
The Configuration navigation pane opens.
