Caution: Never use the AutoRAE Lite or its AC adapter in wet or damp environments. Do not use outdoors in unprotected locations. 3.2 Battery Power You may use four C-size batteries instead of the AC adapter. Always use high-quality alkaline batteries. The battery compartment is located on the end of the AutoRAE Lite. Open and remove the door by pulling up on the latch and lifting. When inserting the batteries, be sure to follow the polarity markings indicated in the compartment. After all four batteries are installed, replace the cover. Important!
