Switch functions: The twilight sensor integrated into the nightlight switches on automatically when the room is dark enough (e.g. in the evening). If the room becomes lighter, the twilight sensor reaches a threshold value and automatically switches the nightlight off. Safety instructions and warnings: The product’s design corresponds to protection class 2. The only permitted source of voltage is a standard mains socket on the public supply network. Do not operate the product by means of an extension cable or an adapter. Do not immerse the product into water or other liquids. This product is not a toy, and it must be kept out of the reach of children. Take especial care in the presence of children, and do not leave the packaging material lying around unattended. Plastic sheets and bags, polystyrene parts, etc may become a dangerous toy for a child. The appliance is not suitable for professional use. Ensure that the housing and insulation of the complete product are neither damaged nor perished. The product must not be opened! There are no parts inside the product which require you to maintain them. It is not permitted to convert or modify the product. Always examine the product for damage before you use it. Maintenance or repair may be carried out only in a specialist workshop. If you notice damage, the product must NOT be connected to the mains supply! There is a danger to life! Allow the product to reach room temperature before inserting the product into a mains socket. Under some circumstances, this may take several hours. Otherwise there is the danger of a life-threatening electric shock! We accept no liability for personal or material damage caused by incorrect use or by failure to comply with the safety instructions. Cleaning and care: Clean the product only with a dry lint-free cloth. The nightlight should not be exposed to the following environmental effects: Wet conditions or excessive humidity / Never touch the product with wet hands / Direct solar radiation / Extreme cold or heat => recommended temperature range 5° to 25°C / Fine dust or flammable gases / Vapours, oils, or solvents / Do not place or submerge in water Environmental protection / disposal instructions: Hand in the product only at a collection point for electrical refuse. Batteries do not belong in household waste! Return batteries and / or the appliance via available collection facilities. Guarantee: This product has a 2 year guarantee from the date of purchase for time and materials. This guarantee does not apply to products which are used incorrectly, modified, neglected (including normal wear), damaged by accident or abnormal operating conditions, or are handled incorrectly. For a claim under guarantee, the appliance together with proof of purchase and a brief description of the fault are to be sent to Mellert SLT, If there is no proof of guarantee, repairs will be carried out only against payment.
