Insulating Refrigerant Pipes • Overlap insulation to avoid gaps. • Avoid compressing the insulation as much as possible. • Be sure there are no cracks or deformities in the insulation at bends in pipes or where hangers are attached to pipes. • If necessary, double the insulation to prevent condensation from forming in warm or humid areas. 3.
