EPSON PRODUCT SUPPORT BULLETIN Date: 01/25/96 PSB No.: 1996.01.002 Reference: SI 950389 Originator: SA Authorization: Affected Product(s): ActionTower 8200, 7500 Windows 95 Imaged Products (A Subject: ActionTower 8200, 7500 Windows 95 Image Recovery Program File Revised Version 1.3 The purpose of this bulletin is to notify you of the revised recovery program file, version 1.3, for the ActionTower 8200 and 7500 Windows 95 Imaged products. The recovery program file RECOVER.EXE has been revised to accept HDD’s larger then 850MB. Version 1.2 of the RECOVER.EXE file located on the current Recovery Diskette (ver. 1.0 rev. 1) is unable to correctly restore the factory Windows 95 image on HDD’s which are larger than 850MB. Action Required: Upgrade the current RECOVER.EXE file from version 1.2 to 1.3. The RECOVER.EXE (1.3) can be downloaded from the Epson Forum on CompuServe or the Epson Bulletin Board System. It is located in the Desktop Computers - PC Library and the name of the file is REC_13.EXE. To update the current RECOVER.EXE file from version 1.2 to version 1.3, make a diskcopy of the original Recovery Diskette and copy the new file onto that diskette. Page 1 of 1
