Wellbeing As we spend more and more time in front of our computer screens, certain health related complaints are also on the rise. General fatigue, headaches, eye strain, neck pain and back pain are some of the most common issues for office workers. By developing the ErgoSensor and SoftBlue, we set a new standard for monitors that will feature in the offices of the future, where wellbeing will be a paramount when it comes to equipping the workplace. ErgoSensor For a healthier way of working The Philips ErgoSensor is the first monitor with smart features that address your individual ergonomic requirements and overall health. The ErgoSensor takes care of wellbeing in three key ways. It does this using a processor connected to a CMOS sensor. Sophisticated algorithms for human-environment interaction analyze the pictures and displays a message on the screen. Learn more at www.ergosensormonitor.com. Correct posture The ErgoSensor detects the angle of your head and offers advice improving your posture if your position is incorrect for an extended period of time. Distance from the screen The ErgoSensor measures the distance between your eyes and the monitor, and gives suggestions for correcting how far you’re sitting from the screen. Suggesting breaks The ErgoSensor reminds you to take breaks by calculating the amount of time you spend working behind the display. Philips Monitors 2014/2015 3
