Pin Definitions
(JPI2C1)
The Power System Management Bus
( I2C) connector (JPI2C1) monitors
the power suppply, fan and system
temperatures. See the table on the
right for pin definitions.
Trusted Platform Module Header
The JTPM1 header is used to connect
a Trusted Platform Module (TPM),
available separately from a third-party
vendor. A TPM is a security device that
allows encryption and authentication of
hard drives, disallowing access if the
TPM associated with it is not installed
in the system. See the table on the
right for pin definitions.

Fan Headers
This motherboard has six fan headers
(Fan1 to Fan6). These 4-pin fans
headers are backward compatible with
3-pin fans. However, fan speed control
is available for 4-pin fans only. The
fan speeds are controlled by IPMI (if
present) or by BIOS. See the table on
the right for pin definitions
JPK2 Header
A RAIDKey header, located at JPK2,
provides RAID function support in
order to use RAID 5 SAS2 support
(optional for H8DCL-6 and H8DCL-6F).
