Mounting the LS 6800
Desk Mount
Switch off all devices to be connected to the LS 6800 scanning system, and mount the scanner
using the stand with a stable base and a telescoping arm for adjustable height, as in Figure 2-1

1. Attach the plate to the stand’s telescoping arm. The plate’s center hole screws onto
the stand’s arm.
2. To mount the scanner to the stand’s mounting plate, align the screw holes in the plate
with those on the bottom of the scanner (4x #6-32 tap) and insert appropriate
screws.
3. Set the stand in the desired location.
