81_GSBOOK.fm5 Page 42 Tuesday, October 14, 1997 4:04 PM MAX+PLUS II Getting Started f Option: Action: -a Displays information about all features. -S <daemon> Lists all users of the specified daemonÕs features. -f <feature> Lists all users of the specified feature(s). -s <server> Displays the status of the specified server node(s). -t <timeout value> Specifies the timeout interval during which daemons must complete their connections to each other. The default is 10 seconds. You can use a larger value if the daemons are running on busy systems or networks. -c <license file> Uses the specified license file. If this option is not specified, lmstat looks for the environment variable LM_LICENSE_FILE. If the environment variable is not set, lmstat looks for /usr/local/flexlm/licenses/license.dat. -A Lists all active licenses. -l <reg. expression> Lists all users of the features matching the given regular expression. See also ÒlmgrdÓ on page 40. lmdown The lmdown utility instructs lmgrd and alterad to shut down. The license daemons write out their last messages to the log file, close the file, and exit. All licenses that have been given out by those daemons are rescinded, so that the next time a program verifies the license, the license is not valid.
