To maintain good performance
Do not use the unit in places which are extremely hot, cold, dusty or humid. In
particular, do not use or keep the unit in following places.

Listen at moderate volumes to avoid hearing damage.

Note on condensation
If the unit is suddenly moved from a cold place to a warm one, it may result in
condensation on the pickup lens and malfunction or playback difficulties.
Should this occur, leave the unit for a few hours, then try to playback again.
USING ON DRY CELL BATTERIES+

1 Sat the diat to the OPEN position to open the disc compartment, then
open tha battery compartment.
2 Insert two size AA (LR6) aIkaline batteries with the @ and 0 marks
correctly aligned. After battery insertion, close the battery compartment
firmly.
3 Close the disc compartment tightly and set the dial to the LOCK position.
Battery replacement
The battery indicator in the dkplay changes from 6@0 to K@ to CO according
to the remaining power of the batteries. Replace the batteries when (CO lights. If
the unit remaine in use after CO lights, “Lo bAtt” is displayed and the operation
will stop.

FUNCIONAMIENTO
1 Mueva el dial ala posici6n OPEN para abrir el compartimlento del disco y
abra el portspilas.
2 Coloque dos pilas alcslinas tama Fro AA (LR6J con Iaa marcss 0 y O
correctamente alineadas. despu6e de colocar Ias pilas, cierre firmemente
SI portapilaa.
3 Cierre firmemente el compartimiento del disco y muava el dial a la poaici6n
LOCK.
Cambio de Ias pilas
El indicador de pilas en la pantalla cambia de @iIOa (I?KOa CO segun la carga
de Ias pilas. Cambie Ias pilas cuando se enciende la Iuz CO. Si sigue utilizando
el aparato cuando se encienda la Iuz CO aparece “LO bAtt” y deja de funcionar.

Time to recharge the batteries

lights, “Lo bAtt” is displayed and the current operation will stop.

If the lens becomes dirty, the player will skip or not play. If this occum, clean the
lens in the following manner.
To remove dust or dry particles, first use a camera lens blower/brush@ to blow a
few times to loosen pati[cles, then gently brush the lens@ clean. Finish by blowing
the lens again.
To remove fingerprints, use a cotton swab dipped in lens cleaning solution. Wipe
gently from the center to the edge. Lens cleaning solution is commercially available.
Note
Take care not to get too much solution on the swab, which could flow into the unit
and cause damage.
Pressing too strongly with the swab could scratch or break the lens.

Si la Ientille est sale, Ie Iecteursautera ou ne jouera paa. Dans ce cas, nettoyez la

brosse @ pour objactif d’appareil photo et eoufflez plusieurs fois pour dt$tacher
