Installing the software
CAUTION:
Install EasySharesoftware before connecting the camera to the
computer. Failure to do so may causethe software to load
incorrectly.
1 Closeall softwareapplicationsthat are open on your computer(including
anti-virussoftware).
2 Placethe EasySharesoftwareCD into the CD-ROMdrive.
3 Loadthe software:
Windows OS--if the install window doesnot appear,chooseRunfrom the Start
menuand type d:\setup.exe whered is the driveletter that containsthe CD.
Mac OS X--double-click the CD iconon the desktop,then click the Installicon.
Followthe on-screeninstructionsto install the software.
Windows OS--select Completeto automaticallyinstall the most commonlyused
applications,or Customto choosethe onesyou wish to install.
Mac OS X--follow the on-screeninstructions.
If prompted,restartthe computer.If you turnedoff anti-virussoftware,turn it back
on. Seethe anti-virussoftwaremanualfor details.

Direct printing with a PictBridge enabled printer
Your camera is compatible with PictBridge technology, so you can print directly to
PictBridge enabled printers. You need:

1 Turn off the camera and printer.
2 Connect the appropriate USBcable from the camera to the printer. (See your

1 Turn on the printer. Turn on the camera.
The PictBridgelogo is displayed,followed by the current picture and menu. (If no
pictures are found, a messageis displayed.)If the menu interface turns off, press any

to choose a printing option, then press the OK button.
