Park brake switch
Reverse Safety Switch
The park brake switch is only used on tractors that are
equipped with a manual PTO. The park brake switch is
a simple NO single pole single throw (SPST) switch.
The Reverse Safety Switch is a simple metal contact
tang switch.
The park brake switch is located on the frame, behind
the dash on the right hand side. See Figure 7.16.
CVT transmissions
Tractors that have the CVT transmissions have the
reverse switch mounted on the left side of the frame, by
the rear wheel. When the tractor is placed in reverse,
the shift linkage will contact the switch providing a
ground, See Figure 7.17. This switch has a red wire
with black trace that goes directly to the RMC module.

The .qreen wire is attached to ground.
The purple wire is connected to the brake
switch.
If the brake pedal is depressed and the parking
brake is set, a ground signal will pass from the
park brake switch, through the brake switch to
the RMC module.
